VDOT Traffic Advisory

The 34th Delegate District will be one of the big winners when transportation mega-projects like HOT lanes and Dulles Rail are completed. Unfortunately, during the construction phase we will also bear the brunt of delays and inconvenience that inevitably come with such projects. In an effort to keep my constituents informed about construction related issues, I am working with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the project contractors to provide updates on construction work.

Dulles Metrorail Project:

Over the next several months (through the end of 2008), the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project will be conducting utility relocation throughout the Tysons Corner area, particularly along Route 7. For emergency utility construction-related issues, the public should call the 24-hour-a-day HOTLINE at 877-585-6789. Capital Beltway HOT lanes Project: 

Bridge replacement and other construction work related to the addition of the variable toll/HOV/bus lanes to the Beltway is underway at locations from Interstate 95 in Springfield to the Dulles Toll Road exit in McLean.
